One of my salesman did the a similar thing years ago. Went for a walk around an island up North with his 12yr old daughter, leaving his partner on the yacht and the dingy on the beach. Came back to find the dingy tied up to the boat. Hitched a lift out to his yacht, asked her what was going on. She flipped out, started throwing the shells etc his daughter had collected into the water. So he picked her up and turffed her into the water, followed by her gear. She swam back to shore, doesn't know what happened after that, doesn't care.
