Hey Smokin Joe, I think Sunday will be crap weather wise
BUT, as soon as we get a real good weekend, I intend on doing the Loop anyways and I reckon most people on this thread will go as well.

Just getting a nice day on a weekend will be nice for once aye?

If Sundays weathers okay, I'll try and be there and Weestromer and any others from South can can meet at Kopu gasser around 10.30am.

Can't do the normal pace around the loop this time of the year as that loverly green stuff likes hiding around the corners where the sun don't shine.

Same mate, but I've got a leave pass at least.
Intend to go but not if it's real crap, which it looks to be. Hope the weather forecast is wrong again aye?

Yup same here. Crossed the Tassie last night and this shit was out to about 700 miles which is not promising though it all seemed to be moving along fairly quickly.?
    Heres hoping..!

If the weather looks god I should be making an appearance.
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.

The road condition is lovely and there are plenty of gas and food stops along the way so you can make your engine scream without fear of running out of gas or energy.

It's easily one of my favorite rides - check out the pics, you will understand why some of us love those roads.

You won't regret it mate. best done in summer when it's dry. The twisties are just great when you can hang off your bike with full tyre grip.
I don't get much chance to look at the scenery as the road needs your full concentration mostly, but it's got to be one of the best rides in the country.

My pick is it will be "OK" in the morning, with a risk of us getting nailed by Rain, Strong Winds, and maybe even HAIL on the way back....

Hmmm - hope that front speeds up and passes overnight, not too much possibility of this happening though...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...
