Advantages over a regular vest:
Does not ride up on your jacket.
More secure dual-fastening, with zip and waist belt.
Reflective panels.
Emergency whistle.
Additional padding to protect the rider from contact with the tarseal.

Nice, not sure about the whistle

can see the advantages, especially if you live near a lake ..

Know where I can get a decent High Vis vest?

That's at the end of 1,015km. It was a lot brighter to start with but quite a bit got used up with people staring at it.

Lovely. I've got a yellow one, and a nice orange one similar to that from previous employers. I'm scared to wear them on the bike around Wellington in case I distract aircraft landing at the airport.
