Well.. I've decided I'm gonna have to miss this one
I've decided if I ever want to get a better bike, certain sacrifices will need to be made.. unfortunately, the only part of my life that can save money, is 'not going on nice long fun rides'
Hopefully I'll have enough money to get a new bike at the end of the year..

Can you naki boys please clarify that a sheep on a spit is not going to mean turning up and finding Sensei and Inlinefour with their leather chaps around their ankles and velcro gloves working overtime?

You are putting on a lunch that has not been basted the naki way?

Sorry, I can't eat that porker. I'm Jewish. I shouldn't even be riding on a Saturday.

    Arrow What a day...

Went up to Te Kuiti to catch up with Swanny & his other half today. The weather was mint and there was only one small bit of roadworks that really needed to be slowed down for: part of Awakino George has a small set of lights where the road is only one lane. Sadly I got a red light both ways, although the bunched up traffic was easy to get past once we was through the roadworks. There was quite a good frost, however the roads tended to only be wet when I went through (10am-12pm). Even when I put a foot down to check the road surface it was not icey or slippery, although all the areas that are potentially hazerdous are well sign posted. After getting up there I had a great feed at the diner next to the BP petrol station and waited, and waited...
About an hour later swanny walked in, without the bike and introduced himself & partner. Had a good yack and a laugh and I was on my way back home. The roads was much drier and better to ride on. As a result the ride home did not take as long. Snapped a couple of pictures: 1. My bike with swanny's partners cage behind it. 2. Swanny, & 3. Swanny's partner, who it would appear does not like having her picture taken...
Looking forward to this Sat ride, just don't tell my boss cause I'm not feeling to well eh...
