    Longtrack Speedway ...

Anyone other than me manage to get along ?

    My impressions :

    *Bloody good show
*Bloody stoopid stewards kicking me out of the cheap , but not cheapest seats coz I hadn't bought the correct ticket.
*Bloody stoopid stewards for not seeing me sneak back into the cheap seats
*Bloody nice hot dogs (Why do they always taste so good at race meets?)
*Bloody old looking riders in the longtrack !
*Bloody good to see Mitch win the "C" final ... really got the crowd cheering.
*Bloody old digital cameras and even older digital camera operator that f'cked up the shots
*Bloody lame "So how do you like NZ interviews" ... why do they always do that?
    *Bloody great sounding bikes ...

Must be something else to say about it , but I cant rememer...

    I need a lie down.

I thought it was a great meeting - my first ever speedway meet. I thought road riders and road racers were mad, but these guys are completely insane - 200kph+ on dirt, sliding, with no brakes! A very well run meeting, though I didn't try the hotdogs. New Plymouth will be hosting it for the next two years - I'll be there!

    Wari.......

    He does speak coherently!!!!
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
