    FOR SALE: NC30 Bitza

I have managed to find a bit of history about this bike:

This NC30 was imported into the country as a racebike 'back in the day' and at the time had the front end fitted and the fairings, it was hotted up with an HRC black box, porting, open exhaust and then the guy got rid of it (reason unspecified) so I don't even know how may times it was raced, if at all. At this point the odometer was broken at 20,099km

It has had six or seven owners since then and each one has tidied it up a little, it sat in the shed then they've flicked it off.

I got it in December, plan being take it to Wanganui (street races) and then sell it again as I was really after something bigger. I had such a blast on it down there and back that I decided to hang onto it for a little longer, threw new tyres on it, spent a bit of time dyno tuning it and have had some laughs. But alas it comes time to sell, I really need something a bit quieter for commuting (yay the race pipe) and with a pillion seat.

If you were thinking about this bike it would probably pay to put it into perspective, if you want to put a pillion seat on it ~$400, if you want it quieter ~$300, if you want to paint it up and get it looking good ~$1000, if you just want to have some laughs on a bike that has good midrange power, has an awesome sound and is basically obnoxious then just buy it and ride it.

I'll describe all the bits to the best of my abilities but I'll probably forget something, I will expect anyone who seriously wants to buy it to see it before comitting as it looks better in the photo's than in the flesh (strange but true)

Front end is RGV250/GSXR400, the 3.5inch front rim leads me to believe 400 but can't be sure, the springs are a little soft for the weight of the bike as a result (I changed the fluid in Jan)
Front discs feel loose to me, they are free-floating discs, but it passes warrants and mechanic says they still have life in them.
Front guard is carbon fibre RGV
Front tyre is Dunlop GPR-70 1/2 worn
Braided brake lines (I installed in Jan)
Fairings are fibreglass Aprillia RS250 (1998+) and fit very snugly making the bike look small
Twin headlights, one low beam one high, average for nighttime riding (after you've seen the new R6's lights everything is average!)
    New windscreen (installed yesterday)
    New Mirrors/Indicators (installed yesterday)
    New Air filter in Feb
6Hrs Dyno time in Feb to tune - 59Hp
Has an HRC black box, whether this is a proper "race-box", don't think so, I think it is just to stop the 180kph cutout.
On that note, it has been geared down a bit (race gearing?) and so hits the rev-limiter at 180 anyway
Rear tyre is also a GPR70 but it is shot, I can get one for cheap (old race tyre) and so probably will by next weekend
Seat is the original NC30 and doesn't fit well with the fairing.
    Chain is new in Feb
K's are down as 50,000 because that was my best guess, I've done about 7,000 since Dec.
Compression was tested in Jan - 200,190,200,210
    Shims were checked/adjusted in Jan

Edit: photos added, and there's one in my profile

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Also, yes this bike is warranted and registered, rego expires 16/9/2006, WOF expires in OCT, but WOF is so dirty I can't see the date, just which hole is punched out.

Yes, would very much like to buy this from you... sadly I'm another no hoper that foolishly tied his money up in a house this year. Should've brought two interesting second hand bikes instead of this boring new one

hmmm... i might be vaguely interested.. just need to sell my kinetic, and then i should have enough money saved..

have you had much interest in it yet? if i paid a deposit, would you hold it for me (if you need money urgently)
