Being frustrated is disagreeable.
But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.
Thanks Linda. A few of us went to lake Ferry Saturday and it rained most of way home. So, half way through the damn game I figured, no point watching anymore may as well go down and clean the bike. They tell us not to drink and drive. Where the hell are the "don't drink and clean your bike" warnings.
I moved it a couple of feet not noticing that the side stand had folded back- they don't bounce very well on concrete, crash crack ah bugger! !![]()
Looks like a trip to the shop Monday for some new parts. Worse bit is the side fairing is smashed but the Bumper repairman should make easy work of it. He did a good job a few years ago putting my VTR fairing pieces back together and that was like a jigsaw puzzle. Typical, today is fine. It may be a good gearbox buts its not that good that I can ride with no clutch lever
Happiness is a means of travel, not a destination
Bugger that is bad news Mark.
Cheers
Merv
Jeesh Mark that sux. I know exactly how you're feeling 'cause I had a very similar moment with the Gixxer on just my third day with it. Hope the repairs go well.

Yup that was me - you must've seen the other guys go through about 5 minutes before me. I was on the way to the in-laws for the Sunday roast.Originally Posted by Lynda Blair

Sorry I missed the PM - next time!
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
The chocolate brownies at the Brown Sugar Cafe are awesome Lynda! - if we'd stayed any longer there I might have been tempted to go back for my second.....
Thanks for the great ride Celtic Sea Lily - I really enjoyed the Paekak Hill, apart from that little heart-stopping moment with theas I realised my registration expired yesterday and my L plate must have fallen off on the ride somewhere......
That's funny I seem to recall it being removed at the Mana Caltex...maybe I was suffering from coffee depravation & halucinating.Originally Posted by Tigger

Oh yes, well, maybe I remember something about that now......
Actually, I don't want to lose it, as I'll have to put it on to go sit my restricted test soon. And MUST remember not to go over 70 km/h......![]()
Tee hee! Well keeping in that handy little place under your seat is a sure fire way not to lose it.Originally Posted by Tigger
