Well I rekon central city is best, We All know where it is, it may eb a good idea to note, I cant ride faster than 80kph (run in limits on the engine)

Around teh bays sounds like a good idea though

I thought it was akaroa, thats the best place to go. Then come back through governors bay etc, that will be sweet.

I'm not going to go all the way in there and then all the way back, so I will meet up with you guys some other places.

The central city is a bigish place, would you like to narrow it down a bit.

As K14 said somewhere on the outskirts of the city maybe better.

I'm not to sure if Sal will want to ride all the way to Akaroa, but may ride to
    the Hill Top Pub.
Other wise she will jump on the back of the Guzzi.
But that is OK, as she has not been on the back for a long time now, and is
looking forward to getting on the back again.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

If we do do the extra distance Sal could always ride as far as she fells like and then jump on the back with you Lm, that way you get a stint solo and 2up. Or she could ride the storm with me but if it rained and the storm shrank and so did we, then we'd never find her again

Running in is over rated IMO Put 500km on then ride in normaly most inportantly very the revs ie: 70-90-80-100 oh bugger it 110-80 etc.
I dont know why Suzuki have such ridged rulls for running in when Honda dont have any at all.
    cheers DD

If i was getting a new beast I would take the hard run in method, it is all a load of bollocks anyway. They rev the engine out in all gears in the factory before they send it out, so it is sweet. Apparantly the best break in method is the ride it like you stole it one.

But yeah, don't mind how far we go, but would like to go to akaroa if it is a nice day. Don't mind riding home solo, just want to get some good twisties.
