from what i could tell, even the hyosung is better.. they're pretty much the same price, except the 250ninja still looks like the 'very old' 250ninja, and what's with inline twin? what happened to the screaming 4's?

That's actually a lameass GPX250, they've rebadged it ninja to sell more, but in effect they are watering down the ninja name quite substantially, a bad move in my opinion. I don't trust Korean or Chinese stuff yet, although I have heard good things as well as bad about the Hyobags.
