Auckland mid week ride - Coroloop 21st June

With the mint as weather outside, I am not going to let it pass by. So I am going to do the Loop tomorrow.

For those of you who are not doing anything better, you are welcome to join me.

Plan is to be at Autobahn around 9:30 and leaving around 10am

will be best to PM me if you are interested.

I will be going medium pace. As I'll take to chance to play and adjust suspension on my 954

I've been holding out for a nice big ride and the Coro Loop sounds like a nice idea. I'll send you a PM later tonight if I can make it.

    You're on to it.

I haven't seen those brand of pies anywhere else, then again I don't exactly go pie hunting. If I recall correctly they were Grandma something something or similar. Steak and Cheese .

Man, wish I was still at Uni, used to do the Loop once a week, not on the weekends. It's awesome...stuff all traffic!

Swanny, best pie is steak and oyseter brand from Coro Pies (in Coro township). If you go past the BP, hang a left, then take the first (I think) gravel driveway down to the end, you can get 'em there, freshly made...a few places on the Peninsula sell them too.

You can get them in the little cafe turn right after bp and then on your right pretty much straight away as well

22nd is the shortest day so call it a Mid Winter celebration.

Had thought of doing the same ride Thursday but other stuff has got in the way now. Enjoy the loop (and the pies).

Theres a dirty great hole opened up and theres a bit of loose metal just before the hairpin at the twin Kauris on the Kopu-Hikuai road if yous are going that way... came around there today in the 4wd and would have been a nasty surprise on the bike

    As you were...........
