Well if you foam blowing latte drinkers leave Auck's at 9am as mentioned you'll hit Paparoa at around 10:30-10:45am IF you don't stop in Welsford for gas....which you won't need to. Gas station in Paparoa for y'all...
If there was a new bike in my household it prolly is riding up and down the Ruakaka straights getting its first 100kms on it...and that's a big IF
It may or may not be black,have a nice set of Yoshi thumpers too...but hey,who knows??

we "bigger guys" need the larger bikes and seats to be more comfortable.
