Running in schools... some don't allow them to run around corners but children are always told the reasons for these rules

I do think banning paper planes is a bit ridiculous as it will so easily stunt their creativity... choosing the right design... angles... force... these teachers should have used this context and turned it into a learning experience.

the thing that cracks me up is .. they wont hold a kid back at school if he isnt ready to progress to the next grade.. i BEGGED my kid's principal to hold him back a year because he was reading a few years below his age..

cant do it sir.. it would scar him for life ..

fuck off.. what do yiou think not being able to read will do?

Do they send him to reading recovery and stuff? Because most schools have teachers who soley do this, and watching them is amazing!

I guess a few years back they did hold a lot of children back but I am sure he was capable enough in other aspects of this schooling in order to cope with it.

Do you not think he would have been teased for being held back a year? Children do learn best when they are enjoying school and are in a safe environment. Making them feel asthough they are incompetent will not help their learning
I'm gonna make it so PC

he came from schooling in the States Buffy..totally different teaching style over there..he really had a hard time adjusting to it here..

i was given a fair bit of shit as a kid and all it did to me was build character..

i think i know whats best for my kid, and as a parent, i would expect the school to abide by my wishes and hold him back if thats what i requested

he is right up at his age level and beyond right now, due to the fact that i insisted on rerading and maths practice every night for the past few years

Ahhh, I remember the school lunches in the 80's where 'bull rush' was the only game we played. Those were the days.

And I remember when "bull rush" got banned.

See? This PC thing has been going on for years.

Or maybe bull rush actually was dangerous...in fact...yes, well, perhaps I can see their point.

How long will the rest of the fireworks last? Roman candles next to go would be my guess....Then it's only a matter of time until Sparklers are out.
I got shot in the eye with a roman cadle and it hurt like that slap your mother gave me. And spakler bombs are very dangerous (So they have a point)

But I dont want them banned there fun.

I WILL TELL YOU WHERE THE LEFTIES ARE GOING NEXT ON THE BAN ALL FUN CRAZE - MOTORBIKES.

    Paper planes, fireworks, motorbikes!
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
