It’s all fun and games till someone ends up in hospital...
Unless that is the object of the game.
Darwin would be horrified, all these wonderfully creative and ingenious was of killing each other and ourselves and no one's allowed to do them!
The population has to be kept at a sustainable level some how, we can’t let drunk drivers and suicide bombers have all the fun!
Bring back darts, bring back planks of wood with wheels hammed on them and REALY steep hills, bring back having your mum say "Get out of the house, and don’t come back till its dark!"
Its sad to think that those days are gone, my son has missed out on so much and he has had so much more than others his age.
I wonder what my grandchildren will be able to do?
We all have our little obsessions...

They couldn't get the real ones airborne due to strong crosswinds and heavy cloud cover, so had to improvise with paper planes instead...

So who'll be more concerned then?

    1) The PC brigade if we DON'T sing Baa Baa Rainbow sheep" (Let's face it - ones in the story are black)

    2) The SPCA if we actually do something about the colour of the sheep to make them fit the story

    3) The painters' union when we start doing their work

    or

    4) The kids who used to enjoy the nursery rhyme as it is/was?

i don't completely understand your 4 point ramble, other than PC sucks, and we should put together a partition to get rid of it.. or something

Do a Ghandi - passive resistance.

Don't get caught up their arguments, just ignore them and carry on. What are they going to do - prosecute you?

I still have a scar on my hand from when a trend went round Glenfield College where you went up someone and stabbed them with a ballpoint with the tip extended. Didn't do me no harm (*sniff* )

P.S Lucky i got out of Wairoa before heading to the college....I was only a "resident" of the primary school.

Got to agree, here, this libertarian tree-hugging hippy did more dangerous shit in his childhood than I care to recall and I bemoan the fact that if I let my kids do half the crap I did, some bugger will call CYFS and report me for abuse.

I do admit to getting a bit antsy if the kids pick up lengths of wood and start waving them at each other's faces or heaving stones at each other, but I figure if you can't break a window with it, it's probably "harmless".
