Catch-22 alive and well with “missing” Welsh bike unit

By-election campaigning for the Welsh seat of Blaenau Gwent has taken on a comedy-level even higher than usual, as the Labour candidate calls for the establishment of a police motorcycle unit to “crack down on yobs”.

The police have said that the council will have to provide the funding, only for the council to state that they have no plans to implement such a unit. Who is the leader of the council? Labour candidate, John Hopkins.

Perhaps Mr Hopkins should take himself to lunch and get this one sorted out?
