    Yeah, I really enjoyed it. It's the only one I did on the 1994 Triumph Tiger 900. Had an absolute hoot coming south from Kaitaia down through the Waipua forest - my first time down that road, and in the dark as we left Kaitaia after midnight.

    The bit south of Dargaville that heads easterly was great; we (three of us) caught up to a freight-train of tail-lights snaking their way over hill and down dale, it looked neat to see. Then the fast guys came through, as usual.

    But really, they're all good. Last year was a corker, one of the best.

    Yeah it was cool alright - the only one I've been on that went that far north. I was possibly up near the front of that freight train - a mate on his Harley was holding up the works a bit.
