Was only slightly disappointed everyone had left and not stayed for the two guys getting tyre punctures repaired.. would have only delayed the ride by 10 minutes. Anyway, I rode with them to ensure they didn't have anymore mishaps.. was a nice ride with three bikes to meet up with the group at awakino pub
Shit, I wondered what Dover was going on about. He had a pocket knife in his hand and said "Quick, let's get the fuck out of Texas"

Haha.. quite funny. The punctures occurred through the ICE Grit that was layed.. bloody sharp splinters of rock! One of the guys pulled the stone out of the tyre and whoosh.. no air in the tyre..

oh... sorry. didn't hear that you had a puncture. However some times in a big group like that if you are sorted for repair kits and what ever then its generally good to not make the whole group wait. As its better to space out the group anyway, and if the whole group... 50+ bikes all stop for any minor incidents then would have taken forever to get somewhere

Zapf mate.. wasn't me.. was Nadroj and another guy on a Bandit 1200 *(I think) that got the punctures..

But you are right. spacing 'em out would have been good... but as mentioned it was a Te Kuiti and we'd had already stopped for you lot =) so wasn't like it was on the side of the road. Though that could have been interesting, 50+ bikes on the side of the road
