Funny thing is if you watch kids programmes (I have to sometimes) there is a bit of that "tension" going on all the time.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Mrs Random insists that I merely have a filthy mind, but I swear that the "Hi 5 Animal Adventures" DVD has a subtext or three going on.

The old BBC cartoon series "Captain Pugwash" was rumoured to have sexual references in characters named "Seaman Staines", "Master Bates" and "Roger the Cabinboy". Alas, Snopes shows this to be an urban legend (the first two, anyway)

it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

I've seen them live, and the Captain makes more than one reference to this in a "nudge, nudge" kind of way. Really upsets the "Lesbian, Feminist, Whale watching, we concieved Aubrey with a turkey baster" crowd. He did a wicked Sarah-Marie Bum Dance at the last one I went to.
