Must have been the Scots part of him talking if it made sense.

Ken Mair will never 'make sense' it's an oxy-moron unlike Ken who is only half that.

I would rather listen to the likes of Alan Duff and Pita Sharples than that other fuck Mair, hes a destuctive little twit in the same mold as Tama iti and that chainsaw happy arbourist Mike Smith (or whatever his name is)....

I'm with Alan Duff on this one. Theres a 'Wild West' themed Mini Golf complex down the road from where I work. Couldn't the American people protest that their culture has been stolen?

Personally I think the whole NZ themed thing could loose the developer a huge wad of cash. NZ themed houses? So they will either be drafty uninsulated iceboxes, or rotting leaky homes. Gee I can really see people jumping at that.

They're all just as bad as each other!! Pita Sharples comes from a long line of shit stirrers and now that he's in parliment he thinks he's somebody. WTF is he going to do in that baby killing case???!!?? A case for the cops not wannabe politicians. If it wasn't for that tree hugging, free love, BS - everyone can be a politition electoral system, he'd never have gotten into parliment. A bullet is too good for them - give then their grass skirts and spears back and put them in the back blocks of the Ureweras - if they survive for more than a week then shoot them!

I had noticed my boys Bionicle's having some Maori names, but it's really more they are based on a phonetic Pacific language....some could even be Japanese...kinda hard to invent a language, and it has to be tough and aggressive....but not too much because they are kids.Silly buggers should be proud, not possessive.

Maori just don't like any one making money out of what they see as their cultural heritage. Some one needs to tell Ken Mair that Maori did not have a written language untill 1815. The Maori word kia ora is a bi culture product as is all written maori.
