So it's not there for a test ride anymore? Bugger, I was going to go up and have a go this week. Even organised some insurance in case I bought it on the spot.

This bike is still the shit.

Taken me 1500km+ to learn it's groove, but at least I am not getting pissed off at my inability to ride it now.

So, which is a better upgrade from a 150/250? The 400 or 750?

The 400. Absolutely. Without a doubt.

If *I* had gone to the 750 after the 250, I'd either be injured by now or I'd never 'get it' because the difference between my old weak ass VTR250 and the GSXR750 is just so great.

Others may be in possession of god like skill to jump on a litre bike and ride it good from day one, but mere mortals like myself can't.

Mmmmm! You've just confirmed why the 750 is my favourite Gixxer! Not sure if my old bod could ride it for long enough! I find the ride position of my 'F' to be quite sporty enough, yet reasonably comfy on a trip.

Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

Those priorities being? Living a long life or dying as soon as possible?

My goal of a VTR1000 still stands. Although I'm likely to upgrade to a Husky 610SM
