You could give it a try. More comfortable than a CBR600RR and my RVF400 by some amount. The seat itself is very good, and you don't put too much weight on your wrists. What you might loose in riding position comfort you may make up with the flexibility of the engine being so good, if you don't want to go anywhere quick, you don't have to change gears.

But shit, I took a pillion last night. I'd hate to go ANY distance like that, torture for me and her.

People in the states get on thous and busas for their first bieks and they are fine. But if you wan to be fast you have to get the most out of evey bike before you move up sorta like what two smoker has done 150, 400 and 600 then one day 750 followed by thou.

Well I only want the SP1 as it's my dream bike, and I was only going to be riding it around the road taking care of it. This might not happen due to financial constraints

As for racing, I was going to go SS150, F3, F2, F1, MotoGP, etc.

Im not a fan of vtwins (for aural reasons more than anything else) but I will own a TLR or SP1/2 sometime soon. I dont know what it is about those bikes, esp the TLR. They just look like rocketships, not the little toys (pardon, I know you have amazing machines) you get these days.

Of course. And by that president established, we are going to swap our current bikes for a feathers-mborough ride real soon?

So, four of you went on the Coro loop and 1 ran into a roundabout then?
    25% sounds awfully high otherwise.

The last few loops I've been on have been damp and quite a few of us have done it through winter without a mishap and we weren't mucking about. I have seen a mishap on only two loops out of the 10 or 12 I've done and numbers have been quite high on some of them.

Man, I love that hunk of road. Built for bikes it is. Be kinda neat to live in Coro and do the Coro-Whitianga and back again after work in summer wouldn't it?
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

This was in the black-yoshi days. Nah 5-6 people crashed and a little under 30 went on the ride. so not quite 25%...
