    Whats on TV? (CAUTION, RANT)

I lane split every morning and every night on my way back and forth to work...
It might be conceded dangerous, it may be illegal, you might think I'm the worlds biggest asshole for doing it but I don’t care and will keep doing it as I think its safer than sitting in front of a car when the driver is ether on the phone, in a daze, tuning his radio, or the latest trend, watching TV!
I've seen five drivers in the last two weeks watching TV as they drive(?) down the motorway!
You used to be able to fail a car on its WoF if it had a screen that could be seen by the driver, but not any more.
    Speeding dangerous?
Watching Shortland St at 100kph is safe then is it?
At least we now know why they didn’t see us!
We all have our little obsessions...

My missus SUV came with a TV but it turns off when you go over 3 kph. No worries, I bought this gadget on the net that bypasses this function, now I'm away laughing.

It's not that dangerous really cause we're in an SUV weighing 3.5 tonnes with 28 airbags. Thanks for your concern though, really.

Shortarse street is NEVER safe for watching!

In fact I believe it is about to be banned under the Geneva Convention as "mind torture"...

    Shortland St proves two things;

    1) We have absolutely no talent in NZ
    2) Kiwi's are mindless morons for watchng it

I knew a couple for 18 months and found out they watch Shortland St religiously. At first I thought they were joking but no such luck. I refused to ever see them again.

    VIRM - 7-14 Television sets.

Um,I have no page 7-14 in my VIRM,it was removed in the last update, but is still in the index.A lot of ''new'' rules are not new rules, they are just old rules with defining definitions removed - or in this case...the whole damn page!

What does the online version show Ixion? They have changed the URL and I can't be bothered finding it again,I have the hard copy afterall.

How do you avoid scratching the paint whilst running over environmentalists?
Some sort of hull of teflon coating perhaps?

Geez I've heard it all. TVs in cars???!!! I have NEVER owned a TV in my life and don't intend to. I have seen TV programs at friends' places and it just confirms my resolve not to buy one. Many programs I find an utter insult to one's intelligence.

Have I missed out on anything not having a TV - hell no. I never seem to have enough time to do all the things I want to. Yes I wouldn't have minded seeing Dancing with the stars - but obviously not enough - cos I could have gone to a friend's house to watch it. Anyway I have learnt that dancing and would love to do it again - just have to find a tall partner that also wants to learn to dance!

I watch TV ALL the time, I love it. Especially reality TV shows.
If I could have a TV on my bike I would.
