You know what? All I have heard is heresay. I couldn't tell you what size the thing is. I shouldn't have even mentioned it cause I don't have the facts. Just as well I didn't mention names or even bikes, otherwise my conscience would be giving me a hiding. The guy in question has helped me out a few times and he's a good bloke, and a gifted rider. To be honest I was pretty dark when I heard he had a CR125 piston in his bike because I thought the rule was "no competition engine parts". I'm a fucken idiot for not taking the time to read the rules- somebody slap me round the head on Sunday ONLY ONE PERSON THOUGH:eyepoke: - but I've talked to a few people lately who also haven't read them or don't understand them, so I'm not alone there.
Look the point of this was to find out if putting the 28mm flatslide on is legal. If it's not its not. I assumed it would be legal, some other racers did too. A tuner I spoke to today, who has won a national title, was able to give convincing arguments for and against. Its a grey area- rules shouldn't have grey areas.

Bloody oath! Be more careful with that bloody can opener in future. Can I assume that you believe there are no 24mm flatslides in existence?Originally Posted by diesel pig

Compare Pornography now to 50 years ago.
Then extrapolate 50 years into the future.
. . . That shit's Nasty.
So if you restrict the slide opening on a 28 can you make it into the "carburation equivelent" of a 24 ?
Simple as... and the offer has been made already TonyOriginally Posted by stanko

Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.
