    Evolution of a shitter...

I'm sure this info has filtered thru the local KB grapevine, but just in case- my shitty looking bucket will hopefully be a much improved shitty looking bucket by Sunday.

I have scored some slicks, which Don at cycletreads fitted to the NZ250 rims that Stanko is lending me. Stanko also traded the infamous Flatslide carb for some worthless cra.... I mean highly useful bike bits. Many thanks to Andy Evans for putting up with my harrassment and finding a nice slick and selling it at a sharp price. And big thanks to Rod Hawles for going the extra mile and finding a slick when he didn't have one- he got hold of Brian Hardaker who gave Rod the slick which he then took home for me to collect.

Stanko then gave up his time yet again last night using his ridiculosly well equipped workshop to machine the various bits needed to make it all work. He finally kicked me out at 10:40pm last night, so I'll be back tomorrow night to finish the thing off. Theres no way I could have done this without Stanko's help.

God knows how it'll work out, we are having to make a crude ride height adjuster (plates with 'oles in em) for the rear end of the bike, cause it looks as tho all kinds of crap will drag on the gound. Thats the last step. Hopefully it's all worth the effort. Time will tell

What about some longer shocks? have you measured your ride height to make sure it sits as least as high at it did?
