    Stopping

    Who does what?
Ride as far as you can out of every tank?
Or stop every 100 k's or so, for a chat/smoke/fart whatever?
Personally, I prefer to only stop when I have to.

We tend to travel in about 100km or one-hour bursts, maximum. Unless we're Grand Challenging, when it's about 160km or one-and-a-half-hour bursts,

Same! I ride with a 'busa and a GSXR 1000. The busa pilot and I have a range over 300 km and we hate bloody stopping for the Gixxer. They might be quick but not over a long haul

Indeed. I never got any takers to my sprotsbike challenge -- Wellington to Whangarei with only one fuel stop...

The size of my bike is a mismatch for me, so if I'm on the coro loop like yesterday, I end up stopping every 50-60ks for a smoke and strech my legs

Stop for gas only. The destination is the start of another journey.

Gas and a smoke every 120km or so, unless I am on a timeline then I just go till I get there or have to refuel.

Gas every 180ish km's, or stop for a smoke in a scenic area. Or stop and wait for everyone else to catch up!!! (p/t)

My bike makes my arse go to sleep so I stop quite often or sometimes I just ride side saddle, alternating between port and starboard to give one half of my butt a rest for a few K's.
