Most of my early riding was done on trail bikes then many years moto crossing till on day I had one of those crashes that puts you out for a while, then other things come along, and you loose touch. During this time I also had a couple of RD350 yamahas (air cooled) which were great fun.Man have tyres come a long way since then!
Because of being a shift worker I am able to make use of the Rimutukas with some of my work mates mid week and look foward to trips futher afield in the future.
I am a brother Sels1 so caught up with some of you at Lake ferry last weekend.Great ride thanks guys.
    Wayne.
yeah welcome aboard,me from welly 25yrs , had 3- 350RD, and know the rimutakas very will.

    Hey ya Wayne
A few of us here in that boat, returning after a few years out of it.
The tyre comment is so true, I still can't get over how fat/wide they get considering in our day a rear tyre was close to the size of todays fronts!

Waterfall Rd? Off SH1 just north of McKays? Great fun in a RWD cage. No freakin way in hell would I want to ride my lardsickle up there though. Besides, I'm not allowed in Pram anymore, long story.

Actually I was watching you pull into the Summit carpark on Sunday morning. You sure do chuck that thing around don't ya! Like a bucking bronco I thought.

fuck, didn't read your first post properly. Were you there Sunday? I'm useless with faces. Tits, arses and bikes, well thats a different matter, but faces, can't remember them at all. Didn't notice your bike, tits or arse there?
