How does the cable connect to the engine?
On some bikes (eg my bandit 400) there is a screw adjuster thing that pushes on a pushrod to move the clutch, it has to be set before the cable can be set.
Dunno if it applies to your bike though.

No they didn't... I've worked on cars so old that they don't even have hydraulics, only cables, and none of those were ever stretched either.Originally Posted by Motig
