    North Korean Missiles launched

North Korea launches a number of missiles, and the international community joins the USA in condemning their arrogance and refusal to comply with UN resolutions?

Lucky for the international community the USA complies with everthing the UN says................

I wouldn't be too worried just yet, the long range Taepodong 2 missile flew for 40 seconds before malfunctioning and fell into the sea.

Bahh, yesterdays news. I would only start to worry when they can figure out how to keep them in the air long enough to cause a worry. Feck me 40secs, i doubt that'll clear NK air space tbh....

Its the Yanks you need to worry about - obsessive paranoia makes them want to attact everything and anything they cant agree with or understand...Kind of reminds me of Neanderthal man tbh (and dont start telling me i'm wrong as its my view, and ya wont change it ) .

It got close to Japan and they have now run to Bush asking to help. Should be interesting to see how this works out.

Don't underestimate the Japanese on this one. If they get nervous they will intervene directly, rather than calling on the US. The Japanese have a very capable "defence force" and are in no mood to take any shit at all from a loony near neighbour.

The UN are being very forthright with this one, and having a "Meeting" about it...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

According to the news last night, the Nth Koreans hit the destruct button while the missle was still on its stage 1 burn. Something serious must have happened to its navigation system for that to happen. I could understand them destroying it after stage 1 and before stage 3 to check that the interstage timing is correct, but they would hardly destroy it shortly after launch unless they had lost control of where it was going.
