NZ drivers much better than Russians

If this video is anything to go by.

Watching it repeatedly caused me to start cackling uncontrollably. The music just makes it funny.

That tunnel is actually under a river, and when the outside temp reaches some stupid cold amount (I think its -34deg) the road freezes.

The crashes you see are a result of this!

    Russian drivers are good.

They only kill 600 people each day.

I'm willing to fight for my right to post without living in fear of the "REPOST" brigade. I actually spend a fair bit of time on this site, and have never seen it. Imagine if I was a noob. I would shit my pants everytime I posted something due to fear that people would attack me for posting something that had a chance of being posted before. I'm sure that me posting this brought it to the attention of people who had not seen it before, and I'm sure they appreciate it for that. It's a pretty cool collection of crashes. And I thought I had seen most cool crash sequences on the net, but this was new to me.

Yep, just did a review of the video after reading your post, and it seems you are right... sometimes the vehicles don't even leave skid marks, a definite sign of freezing conditions, and they do seem to lose traction a little too easily. You'd think that the Rusky's would put in place signage, or maybe even fired heating systems to just take the chill off the air in the tunnel.

    Russians would disagree

I bet they'd say Kiwis (or at least Aucklanders) must be insane to ride biwheeled vehicles in the hodge-podge we call traffic. At least Mrs. Gerbil thinks this way and she is Russian.
