i found the same problem...i did find a thin pair of leather ones at savemart that fit like a dream, but the wet destroyed them. i then stumbled on a pair of thinsulates at a different savemart. just checked an no size sorry, but they were the first decent pair i found that fit right. a pair of thermatec gloves underneath makes things nice and tight and a tad warmer.

I was hunting for gloves for baby bikie.6 year old hands are pretty darn small.
Kerry at Motohause came up with a pair that fit him pretty well--Could be worth a visit.

My girlfriend just bought a Honda CM200 cruiser style bike to learn on, but we've discovered that the levers are a bit too long a reach.

I was wondering if any of the ladies came across this problem and if so, what did they do about it?
I have used on some of my bikes an adjustable lever allowing it to be in closer to the bar & softer to use. It was 3 x $ as much as a standard lever but worth it. I can't see what brand it is but here are some sites that offer clutches that may be helpful if you can not adjust it in close enough to suit with Beemers solution. All clutch levers have some adjustment to soften the pull which has been enough on some of the bikes for me.

I have a pair of Spidi R100 ladies gloves - summer. yes they are expensive but they are fantastic gloves, thin, comfortable, good protection with kevlar etc. I personally hate the winter gloves around, i find them to thick and my fingers get tired from moving the bulk around. I have a pair for Frank Thomas ladies winter gloves that I bought in London last year, the size is great but they are still a fraction too bulky, but i am learning to put up with it.

Don't know if they'll do gear this far away, but try www.girlsbike2.com - based in North London, I know they do mail order.
Can highly personally recommend them - I'm 6ft on the nose and , well, chunky to go with it. I've had a set of two piece ladies leathers from them, as well as various other bits of textile gear. Clare or Julie will sort you out, I promise!!

I suffer from both of these problems. Reckon I have tried every pair of gloves on that have ever been made(?) and still have been unable to find a pair that fit in the fingers! I have to agree, it does make it very tiring on the longer rides.

As for the clutch and brake levers - well they were well out of my reach. Took the bike into the shop and they adjusted them for me. No problems now.

They don't have any stores down here ( They said they would seriously look at coming down here if anyone was willing to buy a franchise- any takers! just email them) but you can buy on line. They have some nice gear.

Awesome, thanks! It is really difficult to find decent gear for us chicks. This will save a whole heap of pissing about and searching. Nice one!

    Smile gloves

I have long fingers like BB.. The scientists reckon its the testosterone, that in women you have longer fingers.
I have the problem normally of having to buy mens gloves to get the finger length, then they are all baggy in the hand. But that is not so bad in your winter gloves as I can just fit a pair of stretch woollen gloves on underneath for the cold.

On another note my husband reckons I have a festish..for collecting gloves. I horse ride and have over a dozen pairs of gloves.. plus 2 pairs of motorbike gloves. Ah a new collection to begin!

    Happy summer riding everyone.
