    WTB: Front subframe 04' R6

I broke my front subframe (mirror, tacho mount thingie) on the 2004 R6 when I was man handeling it. It was slightly off center and when trying to straighten it, it came off in my hands. Darn weak shit on new bikes!

So I am after another one in good nick with no bends or damage. I am after a genuine Yamaha one too BTW.

    Cheerio!

What a bugger. (Will ask some people today - no promises)
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

It's not that the bike's weak, it's cause you're so strong and manly

    Kinda freaky.
The guy doing the last service on my R6 was telling me of a new 06 model he'd just patched up after a not too big a bird had gone THROUGH the radiator and mangled the fan behind.
Seems the fairings are now made out of a new plastic that has more in common with Tupperware than what we are used to - very very flexible...
All after more power for weight. Solid as the space shuttle maybe?

You should feel what my swing arm feels like. It's all hollow construction. Made out of tin from coke cans...

Thanks for the help guys, but never mind.

I'm getting a mate to buy me a new one of US for about NZD 300 landed. Pretty good I reckon.

    Cheers!

You should get a jig made up by an engineer so that you can make them, and sell them to every other strong fulla that breaks theirs
