Yes, plenty of people use their ZXR's every day. Very reliable bike if in good condition.

    Welcome to the site.

Just do regular oil changes, and check it over everynow and then.
Cleaning it helps. You notice little things on it that may need to be replaced.
They are great bikes, and in the right hands, should last for a very long time.

Actually... that may be the reason why my bike isnt running as good as it should

it's sure is a good bike ...it's a rare beast here in my place coz of it's yr. model...anyway i really have to do a lot of sourcing for parts if ever i broke one or problem arise.

Plans to modify the tail into more slimmer type. Is it also possible to fit a much fatter rear tire say 160 or a 170? & would it be alright to lower the front end about an inch?

    Hey welcome to the site.

I think your choice of bike is fine, assuming it is in good nik, think the bigest problem you will have is with parts and reliable service.

Think most mechanics over there would be 99% postie bikes, but, having said that, I wouldn't really know.

Been there quite a few times in the OZ Navy, played frogger on the roads with the postie bikes and flashing orange traffic lights.

Big point to make, take it easy, on that bike you will be a lot faster than most other things on the road over there!
