those red wheels are really cool, and make it distinctive.

Ive mentioned before that I will be getting an Ohlins shock (yellow spring) and am toying with the idea of getting the wheels powdercoated to match...

    She didn't mention the groping

I was thinking about getting one of these seats one day, do you have some female staff to do the 'shape test'?

Well done Mr & Mrs KD - have you run out of "mod" ideas yet?
I have made a few discrete $0 mods to mine lately (lets just say some tape and ice cream containers and leave it at that!). My Hornet is beginning to look like a tarts handbag, and a cheap one at that!
    pretentious moi?

yesterday wasnt a bad day, so I took the Hornet for a spin. after reading a thread on KB about tyre pressures, I decided to experiment a bit.

I dropped my front to 32, and rear to 36 (from the manual recommendation of 36f and 42r).

what a difference! Im still going to upgrade the shock, its oversprung, but the front end feel was much better the suspension felt a LOT better. more compliant and less skittish, and less jolts right up the spine.

    Cheers KB'ers that was excellent!

Yesterday was only a pootle, I think if I was pressing on I would have to up the pressures, but to nowhere near the recommendations. I think they are recommended for a 150kg rider riding at 150kph for hours on end!

Its funny you should mention reducing tyre pressure.

Just yesterday our wise mentor said the same thing, was going to try this next weekend as well.

    Glad to hear your comments.

If I run out of ideas that may the time to change bikes.

Still plenty of things I would love to do:
    Replace the pegs
    Paint the headers black
    Replace the levers
    Lower bars
    Briaded brake lones
    Replace the hugger
    New seat

I am sure there are others

Have you got any photos of your handbag?
