Could always mount mirrors on the bar ends (if you don't lane split)

You bike is missing in your profile picture, did you run down that nice looking bit of road?

Hmmm....been thinking about bar end mirrors a bit recently. Where did you source them from TL? Seen some on eBay for about US$50...

Damn your bike looks nice. (Did I say that in my Honda thread )

The mirrors I have now stick out a little wider than the bars and I have hit car mirrors a couple of times, but the bars are fairly wide as well I guess. This is while splitting a row of cars stopped at traffic lights. I am sure they are leaving as small a gap as possible to piss me off, bastards.

*low whistle*...not bad. Let me know eh? I have severe mirror line-up problems. They are mounted on the bend of my bars because I didn't get the wrong bars. Looks real shit.

It's really funny how we always seem to be looking for more bling and how our trains of thought run in the same direction!!!! I am keen on some of these Oberon Billet Bar End Mirrors in black....mmmmmmm.... purdy....... (and they don't stick out any further than the end of the bar ends!!!)

I'd probably change the rear shock anyway, just to improve the handling a bit as Mrs KD says (good description of the effects, thanks), but whether or not I'd lower it a little at the same time is what I'm trying to get a feel for. This is the perfect thread for that. *Subscribes*
Ive posted elsewhere that i think the upgrade shock and fork option is THE best money you can spend on these bikes, yay for Ohlins....

Ive never needed more ground clearance on the road, but in one day on the track I disappeared both hero knobs and into the footpeg itself on the left. and thats with some knee down action as well. the footpegs are low on these bikes and lets face it they arent full on scratchers.... just great all round bikes.

I personally think it would be a bad idea for a spirited rider to lower this bike unless you really had to.
