Are you still using the standard bulb in your headlight? I bought a Hella Xenon H4 headlight bulb (Phillips stamped on the metal part of the bulb) which has got the blue tint on the top of the bulb. I am amazed by the difference. The say you get about 50% more light out of it and I am over the moon, it has made such an improvement to night riding. I highly recommend to all Hornet riders!!!!!!
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

We also have +50 bulbs. Much better and a lot more visible to oncoming traffic in daylight as well.

wow interesting lights TerminalAddict. I was going to do the exact same thing just before entering the grand challange on my Hornet. But I put in some Hella Xeon +50 as well and it made the main light good enough, so I didn't followup with the extra light upgrade.

Replacing the standard bulb with the +50 make a heck of a lot different.

Your local auto electrical shop should be able to help, they are the Hella / Philips bulbs. Do NOT buy the Nevia ones.

That would be most likely if they put in like 75 or 100W bulbs...

Not really a huge fan of that concept. Thinking more about the people that ride with me than cagers I guess.

Ohhh behave, grrrowf! 'Tis a pity you are giving the Hornet the old spanish archer! It looks like the dogs bollocks after all that TLC and blinging you've done on it!

Ah well, enjoy while you can!

Went for a longer ride on the Gixxer 750 in the weekend and realised how much I like the Hornets friendly riding position so may be keeping the Hornet a little while longer yet.

But there are always other options out there, did someone say Speed Tripple

No worries with the bar ends TA. Not much more blinging left to do now (tui)

Ah, Mr Kendog sir... Ah, if you *cough* might end up contemplating maybe *mumble* moving on to another machine soon... do you think it'd, um, be possible to, err, donate your Hornet to a worthy and err... Deviant cause?

Ahem, sorry about that, not sure what came over me... In other words, love your bike, love your work... do you know how much would you might ask for it?! You know, going to another caring and up-and-coming KBer and all that...
