Okay, I'll calm down. Thanks for the advice guys. But if it's nothing serious then I no longer have a valid reason to buy a really fast really expensive really pretty and really NEW bike I neither need nor should incur more debt for!!

Madboy, You're bike is absolutely fucked beyond economical repair. It may also be extremely dangerous to ride in this present condition. As an EXPERT I can strongly reccomend you call in sick tomorrow and go straight to TSS to trade up to a new Yamaha R1. The special one-day-only deal on offer at TSS tomorrow applies only to Gingers who trade in used Kawasaki's and is at a never to be repeated price. Failing to do this will surely result in disaster, possibly leading to the inability to finish your bathroom renovations. Do it now!!!

There, that should do it. If it does, I want a fang!

O, buy the R1, and stop being such a weiner!

    Sheesh.

Bugger. Took it in to see the mechanic and was told the worst news possible. In fact, it was so bad, it was a common thing that lots of bikes did. And even worse - there was nothing for me to worry about.

Now I'm pissed... I so had my heart set on a black R1.

The reason you were so worried was because you had got a little older (o.k. not much but still a little bit) and when you get older you 'notice things' that you never noticed before.

And you also worry needlessly like an old woman about these things.

    As has just been proven.

Congratulations on getting older. (the option ain't so flash an idea).
