It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere,
I'm all alone, more or less,
Let me fly, far away from here,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun...
I want to lie shipwrecked and comatose,
    Drinking fresh mango juice,
Goldfish shoals, nibbling at my toes,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun...
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun...

    Hmmm...

    The Fast Show was funny.
Anything with Eddie Izzard in it rocks
The late great Richard Pryor was a fairly funny guy

    End of the day... nobody is funnier than this guy;

Anybody remember "Filthy, Rich & Catflap" and "The New Statesman"?

First was Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson and Nigel Planers follow up to The Young Ones, and latter was Rik Mayalls hilarimouse take on A New Labour MPs (lack of) morals and Maciavellian politics.

I'm with MSTRS, any police reality show NZ or otherwise. And Boston Legal.

The New Statesman was the first Rick Mayal comedy I saw with him in it.

Absolutely Fablouse.............I don't think has been mentioned.

Anyone remember Hary Worth? Show use to start with him kicking his leg up in a shop window. It looked like he was doing the splits standing up.

There was another Spring and Autumn............on years ago about this old guy and this young kid who became friends. http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/ar...99002937.shtml

The only decent comedy the American ever did was Laugh In. Never shown in NZ but those that saw it...............shit you crackin up from start to finish.

Comedians.........................Still have a soft spot for Bob Hope. Impeccable timing. Kenny Everett...........a genius gone too soon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Everett.

    How about local content:

    Rabbiters Rest
    A Week of It
Hudson and Halls (funny as in their bitch-fight years)
    7 Periods with Mr Gormsby
...that sketch comedy show that kick started Willy de Wits career (you know, where he played Norman the Mormon)...
    Bro Town

    any more....?

    And more currently...

    The I.T. Crowd

Made by the same bloke who did Father Ted and Black Books (I like those 2 too), and focussing on the trials and tribulations of an IT support team modelled along the lines of The Bastard and his PFY. Moss (the PFY) is particularly amusing.

    Some classic quotes:

"Hello, IT. Is it plugged in?"

"He's stuck under a ladies desk and he's been there too long for a reasonable explanation and people will start to think he's a desk-rabbit!"

I loved Red Dwarf, Steptoe and Son, Two pints of lager, Seven periods with Mr Gormsby - but my favourite would probably be Green Wing. Saw most of the first series and have been waiting anxiously for more. Haven't even seen it on DVD yet, despite it being released in the UK last August.

I've watched two episodes of The I.T. Crowd but it doesn't grab me. There are some funny parts in it but it's not consistently funny enough to make me want to watch it again.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
