honesty i don't think a great deal will swap over, since they are total different bike, i know the pc3 will swap over, but anything really to do with motor i would be very suprised(since different motors)

If ya got ohlins shock, always be a way to remount them to a new model,

ya best mate is check out www.gixxer.com at the 06 section

06 = 'New rear suspension linkage features a forged aluminum alloy link and one piece forged aluminum alloy link rod designed to increase traction and reduce side loads
Inverted 41mm Showa front forks are fully adjustable for rebound, compression and preload settings with updated rake and trail dimensions for improved cornering performance
Showa rear shock utilizes a 46mm piston and a larger 16mm rod and is completely adjustable for rebound, compression and preload'

05 = 'Cartridge-type front forks with 43mm inner tubes and fully adjustable damping and spring preload.
Fully adjustable piggy-back shock absorber features an aluminum body and heat compensation system for more consistent damping performance.'

    -----
That looks to me 04 as 43mm where 06 as 41mm

Hey Chris word has it i can fit my 600 wheels into my K5 1000 only thing is the disc's on the front, surely Shaun has checked this against his K6 600 by now? If not get him to, you're bigger than him............
Shocks, all the linkages have changed yes, but the shock mounts/lengths may be the same, might even be worth touching base with Shirrifs and/or Robert Taylor.

Don't know where you are with this TS but I,m interested in seeing what parts can fit my K6. Might want to try wheels, shock etc out. PM me if you like.
