I never go anywhere near Queen St at night. Too many niggers.

Heal up Metric and make the best of a few days off.

In Metrics case it could have easily been a 'honkey' who threw the punch, you guys need to live a little longer and see for yourselves that the white man is just as guilty of random unwarranted violence!

And btw, Metric hasn't at this stage involved the authorities or the justice system, so you guys are jumping to conclusions about any possible outcome. I personally know plenty of Maori and Pacific Islanders, and the way you guys generalise about them is nothing short of blatant racism as far as i'm concerned so shut your cake holes!
Would it help if I mentioned that my Evo 4 was stolen by a bunch of PI's, was spotted with a full load of them in Manukau, and it was never seen again.

Would it help if I mentioned one of my friend bought a WRX and had it for 4 days before it was stolen by PI's (security camera footage). Also never seen again.

Would it help if I mentioned that that same friend was walking home from the pub along the Pakuranga highway late one night with some of my other friends when a car load of PI's jumped out and beat the shit out of two of them. One broke his thumb on the curb when he was knocked down, the other one (the one who had his WRX stolen) had his prescription glasses smashed into his face by a fist. The other 2 of my friends managed to sprint off.

Would it help if I mentioned that another friend (female) who was walking home from the pub with her friend (also female) had a PI or maori dude jump out and snatch her fucking bag off her arm.

    The list goes on.

What does it take before people start to recognise a fucking pattern. If they did this it might help to work out how to target prevention programmes.

I know it's not all of them haha. In fact I'm sure there are tonnes that are great. But a larger percentage of their youth seem to be a shitload more violent and criminal than us whities, percentagewise. They don't even consider how they are hurting other people physically or financially. I have relations who are part maori, and one of them is a cop. Probably the only cop in the force that I would show respect to. he's a top bloke. But there are just a way higher percentage of Maori and PI's who are into stupid shit like graffiti drugs theft and violent crime. Just something I've observed, and yes it does irk me. But that doesn't mean that i prejudge. But you can usually tell by the way someone holds themselves, or by the way they dress. Whether or not they are looking for trouble. And there are white guys who are into that shit. But way less, maybe it's because they are generally not as large or strong, so they aren't quite as invincible.

you guys can farken talk i used to go out with a part white/maori guy but he was more to his white side and farken racist. everytime we drove past some asains and indians etc he would poke fingers at them. not to forget he used to be a skinhead back in new plymouth. plus i was the first PI gf hes been out with, everytime we walked past a group of PI's he would drop balls and hold my hand pffft. its sad to hear that those guys done that to you but not all of us are like that, its just people like that that gives the rest of us a bad name. did you report the incident so that the cops could get onto it? anyways rest up and get well soon

That's right Andrea, I wholeheartedly agree - not all PI's are like that. There are plenty of white, brown, olive or whatever other races you want to mention that are bad buggers. I've been with my Samoan wife for 16 years and married for almost 10, the only time I've ever had any run-ins with any PI's is when I've been out on the town. But as soon as I've had any trouble, my family has been there - whether I've been out with them or not. I'm not a Samoan and don't try to be, her family aren't benefit bludgers, her family are fantastic people and I'd trust them more than most other people out there. They have learnt to know me - to the point that at a family get together with a karaoke I got up (after some ribbing) and sang "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts"...

    And I'm here, still alive.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Colapop, I've been to your place once and as far as that goes I can vouch that you are very fortunate to have such a lovely family.

I also play rugby and most of the team is Moari or PI (mainly Moari) and they are all great guys, well most of them. And we a fuckin good laugh together.

However I can't get away from the fact that we keep hearing about Poly violence, not just in the media, this being another case.

Unfortunately people get labled, but there doesn't tend to be smoke without a fire. Bad apples always ruin it for the majority.

    Eg
    Zed (Christians)
    Sarge (Yanks)
    Fatjim (good looking fellas)
    Cowpoos (animal lovers)
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.

I am not a racist bloke, in fact one of my key clients at the moment is a Maori trust, and they are all such friendly people. It also seems that the Maori/PI's out of Auckland ...i.e. rural, have a different make up than those fromt he city...just seem to be a bit more friendly.

However, it cannot be ignored that there is a huge deliquency element amongst Maori and PI youth nowadays. One look at the local papers or the herald make that pretty obvious.

I know that it is not only maori and P.I.'s that cause shit, there are quite a few whities doing the same, but the odds sure favour Maori/P.I.'s when it comes to violence. What are the solutions? Suggestions?

One solution is for cops to start working on the small crimes like graffiti. And the much larger impacting crimes like car theft and burglary, and then you will see most of the trouble makers get taken off the street. I don't care who they catch racewise, as long as they start making an impact on the crime. The people who go out and do the graffiti and the car break ins are the same ones who start thinking they are invincible, and they can go around smashing people in to show off to their mates.

All it would take to sort this crap out is a bit of determination from management and some ingenuity. Bring in say 40 bait cars into auckland and actually have the cops monitor them. Put them in the right places, and you can guarantee they will be nicked or broken into within a week, maybe sometimes within hours. Have cops monitoring certain pub carparks on nights like St Pats, and New Years eve. For this to be effective the justice system also needs to crack down on offenders. Make sure that the punishment fits the crime. Like I lost $20,000 on that Evo 4, it was actually an investment that I had bought over from japan a few years ago when they were selling for $25,000-$30,000 cause I had quit my job and was going back to uni. Instead I lost it all, and it was only because my cousin was in comms, that she came round and did a fingerprint check on the car that they had shifted out of the way to get my evo. The cops need to take an interest in the smaller crimes (car theft isn't particularly small in my opinion, it effectively made me a slave for a few years) to prevent the bigger ones. Fix the force, fix the justice system, and you'll probably fix the trade deficit at the same time, as we all know that crime in this country is costing us $billions.

What is that cop show that has cases you can ring up about crimes?

I laugh every time they start to describe the crim as my partner hits me saying " your so racist" but every week I continue to laugh as they continue hold my opinion to be true and correct
