    enigma's take on the gsxr 600 k6

I thought it might be a good idea to give everyone my take on it as an average rider (so I would like to think). Everyone has given good rep so i will do spin side of it and go on about the things i did not like

Well i impressed realy good bike but.

The power deliver (as two smoke) said feels lacking it feels weaker than my k3 belowe 6000 rpm and then get a bit more interesting but not like a classic suzuki no its a more "easier" power delivery I bought my suzuki on the fact that push it past 9000 and things sort get almost out of hand on this it was easy to ride not like a suzuki more like a honda. The k6 is NOT for traffic trust me!

Turning is quick and the first corner was interesting as it sort fell into the corner rather than muscle it like the k3 but i found it "loose" through sweapers not losing control just twitcy which Im sure one can dial out. I had to change the way I ride but after two corners I was at home. The reason i had to change was because where actual sit. Like the honda 600 rr the steering is "beneath" you but unlike the honda you dont feel like you are sitting on top of the steering more with it and more control. So unlike my k3 you dont have to use your body to steer it as much and its much more comfortable.

The mirrors are pointless unless you want to look at yourself.
The front brakes are about 200 times better than my k3 but the rear is non excisting which can be issue on the track and in the rain but im sure it can be fixed.

The styling for me is great even the porn star blue rims can grow on you but the 2006 R6 looks much better! You are greated with a very nicely laid out dash the only complaint I have there is the rev counter it took some time to get use to the non plain font used and it small. I nice feature is the gear shift indicator but i forgot about as soon as i hit some twisty's.

When i got use to ring the shit out of it and the quick steering I loved it and when i got off i had big smile on my face. The thing was just that as soon as i got my k3 and was stuck in traffic twisted the throttle had a bit of a wheely i remebered the first thought i had about the k6 its weak well it feels weak!

Now will I buy one. Definitly YES its an awesome machine I would love to take the R6 out for a ride and compare but the gsxr has my heart for now. I realy had to think about the things i did not like about it and took me to compare it to my k3 before i could pin issues down on it. Its faster than my k3 im sure of it and just like the honda it did not feel it though!

I might take the 750 out and see if i like it more but until then I first need to sell mine!
    Second is the fastest loser
