Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Harvey-Bowler to be precise - how appropriate!
Drove to the army base at Linton for a job interview this morning and was paranoid about doing more than 100kph all the way there. Same on the way back, but noticed at least two mufti cop cars sitting in amongst the traffic heading north around Shannon. One red Commodore (I think) and one silvery-gold one. Both had uniformed officers in them and the red one was sitting right on the tail of the car in front - wonder if he was trying to get the driver to speed up so he could make his quota?

Todays leaked memo comes back to the way funding is delivered, as described in other threads. The boss in Marlborough is kicking butt because the end of the financial year is approaching, (the memo was from early June) and he is faced with having to explain why his area has under-delivered on contracted traffic enforcement hours. (thats what I'd suggest is the case anyway)
Undoubtedly the memos are being leaked by disgruntled cops.
Nah, probably like me when I forget my specs, got to get up close to get his number for qvr.Originally Posted by Beemer

Up this way, they do EBA checkpoints in the middle of the day to get hours up.Originally Posted by spudchucka

The EBA hours are generally a given that they will be achieved with the Booze Bus crews working these days. The ACC fund them to target drink driving and that is virtually all that they do, their cars don't even have speed detection devices in them because ACC don't want the units that they are funding doing anything other than targeting drunks.Originally Posted by Lou Girardin
I have no idea how dumb they are in Marlborough but I would suggest that they aren't quite as dumb as those in Gore.
