Police are attending a motor vehicle accident at RFN 490, State Highway 56 Shannon.

At this stage the accident involves a van that has overturned. Initial information indicate that there are two fatalities and and one further person has been taken to hospital.

No further information concerning the victim or circumstances is available.

Diversions have been set up as follows:

Southern - Ngui road/SH56

Northern - Poplar and Tane/ SH56

Incident Type: vehicle Accident

Police are attending the scente of an accident at SH2 Masterton Road, Woodville. Information at this stage suggests that a car has driven into a bridge. The car driver appears to have been killed. No other information is available - no diversions required at this stage.

the one on Opiki road .. two young kiddies died at the scene .. & a six yr old has passed away in hospital ... other family members were following the crashed van
