    FOR SALE: CX400 Custom

    As it says above.

Honda CX400 Custom, 1986 model import. First reg in NZ 26/11/92, 50,120 km's.

Black, tidy condition overall, new plugs.

Only real points of note I could find, the front Chrome mudguard has been munched a bit at some point and re-straightened leaving wrinkles in the guard.
Left exhaust has some surface rust on the chrome.
Rear tyre new, front tyre still good.

Reg was put on hold for 3 months from 19.06.06.
    WOF expired in June.

    $2500
Advertised on behalf of non forum user, Bike is located in Hamilton.
PM me if you are interested in a look or more info.

(Photo to come but is same model as brochure image attached).

Before any of you buggers on here slag off CX's ask Richard from TSS how well those bloody things go - when he's riding them at least?

If its in good nick it would be a damn good bike for someone who wants a mid range bike.
    Cheers

Nice and fat too. Sort of thing Str8 wouldn't get blown over on. Blown off probably, but not blown over.

Waylander's old man was looking for one of them a while back. Don't know whether he got one at the time.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Nah he didn't. Very much wanted one though but sadly she who holds the finance riens decided not to let him get one. So I'm gonna piss her off by buying myself another bike and giving him the Virago after I fix it.

Bloody fun to ride those CXs though. Nice handeling and throttle response. Same problem as the guzzis though, some damn fool put the engine in sideways.
