One for the Brit based lads...

Looks like I'm going to be in Guernsey from 13 Aug to 05 September and I'd like to get to a BSB meeting if I can. Are there any meetings on in that time, where is it, and what would be the best way of getting there from the island. And how easy is it to get tickets.. just turn up and pay at the gate?

    Cheers

Need anyone to carry your bags? May even consider "other" duties for a trip to the UK/BSB meeting.........

umm.....well, that wasn't what I had in mind, but if that's the only "other" duty required would be happy to do so

    In that case... YES.

Actually, I'm geeky enough I could almost fit inside Mark's bag. Hhmmm, that gives me an idea.

Sorry mate, I got in first. And I've been a KBer longer than you. Besides, I'm probably bigger than you, and my bike may be faster.

May well concede the size issue ... am after all only a wittle fella and also the service time.
But as for the bike "discussion" ... not quite as quick to concide

http://www.britishsuperbike.com is the official site. There's a calendar on the front page, and a Circuits page (click on the circuit you want & you'll get further information).

I'm not sure if you can order BSB tickets through this site, but you should be able to order them over the net somewhere. You can also order bus tickets all around England on the net too - give me a yell if you want that info too.

http://www.google.co.nz is a wonderful thing you know!

Slim`s link should sort you out mate but for the benefit of those not in the know BSB is better than WSB this year.Because the regs are a bit different we get a better range of bikes,I think some politics has crept into WSB as well and pissed a lot of the teams off.Brit version has full works Honda Fireblades and factory-supported Suzuki and Yamaha teams,WSB is turning into a Ducati one-make series and Honda`s support for the Brit series tells it all.

Only race on when you are around is Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. Awesome track to ride, but difficult to see all the track. I guess from Guernsey you'd get a ferry over to Weymouth. It's then about 5 hours drive up to Louth from there. Missed the racing at Thruxton (40 minutes from me) at the weekend and won't make Silverstone this weekend, but I will get to BSB or WSB before the end of the season. If you fancy trying to make that race, let me know and I'll see if I can help out.
