We'll take a sedate cruise up State Highway 16 until Wellsford and then follow State Highway 1 all the way until Whangarei where we will meet with everyone at Burger King.

Remember, the Police are staking out SH16.

    Hey Swanny,

Any idea wot time we'd be getting home after all that riding? Be nice to give wifey some idea, so she doesn't worry too much.

    Cheers

Quite late in the afternoon, possibly hit Auckland anywhere between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, however there will be plenty of opportunities to peel off and head back home earlier, just let someone know.

Agreed,SH1 is considerably faster getting up to Whangarei and yes there's a LOT of riding to be done up HERE.
SH16 is lame compared to some of what we'll be riding y'all!!
Get ya butts up here early as possible...you can aways ride back down it if you don't agree with my comments....but you will

PS: Cops should be OK on SH1 if ya not being nuts...save that shit for further Norf, you'll fit in

If we be good little boys and girls on SH16 we'll be alright, slow down for the straights and speed up for the corners.

I will brief everyone on the day of the regular hiding spots they use and what signs to look out for.

It's simple really, we know they are there, so don't speed! That's why God created Norfland roads

If I head up, will go SH1, only 5 mins from my house to southern motorway manukau city, pain riding out westee and then going up 16, be shagged before the ride starts.

As said, this is a sedate ride up SH16 !!

Either way, you might be able to wing it so that we can meet up in Wellsford or something.

For those being handbags and going sh1, where to meet and when?

By handbag, i mean those that literally are handbags and too soft to take up mr plod on his offer of cash relief, or those that live south or east (or north for that matter) that can't be arsed riding west to get north.

    Fuck it, let's ride!

I don't see the point in going up SH1, whether you go SH1 or SH16 you're going to need to control your speed to avoid the Police. What is more, if you have just announced that you are going to take SH1 to avoid the Police and we assume "the Police" are really monitoring this website, then DUH.

Do you guys really think there'll be less cops on 1 than 16?
What about their happy hunting ground from Waiwera to Wellsford?
Just keep the speed down, like I do.
Remember, the faster you go the bigger the mess.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.
