Actually the rainy season is just ending, the last few days has been a bit wet, but she cleared up today ...we havent used the air con much at all so far.........

I need to try and cool the workshop though as it will be impossible come the summer

Don't know about Tokyo but Nagoya is the humidity capital of Japan, even during the rain season you're sweating bullets!

I read on MotoGP.com that Takahashi broke his arm practicing at Suzuka so will be taking no further part.

Would love to score a copy of the race Rossi and Edwards won together.

well it may rain for Suzuka , its here in Tokyo 34 and just on 70 % humidity ,,not to bad is 6pm now ...So I think the rainy season looks like its going to end this week , ..( bad for me as the tracks go like concrete.....

If I can get some rudimentary Aircon working Il be happy

I must ring up me mate as they were racing in motegi on July 7th when I was in NZ ,,I wonder how he got on ..It was a 8 hour race he was on a ZX10

Dont know if they are racing at Suzuka I didnt look to close

    anyway back to it

    Stephen

Yahoo Japan are going to stream the race live on the net ( I ll find out where) and it looks like all the JSB ( Japan super bikes ) will be there .. here for lastyears races

And the start of last years Race 100k ( but worth it for the 15 sec rear wheel change including Fire !!)

if anyone wants an eye opener they have to go to suzuka, it is a town built around a track, awsome stuff, not to mention ferris wheel etc. also, in the surrounding areas there are a bunch of bike shops that would blow your mind, 500 of every item and 15 colours to chose from!!!! TSR racing (they have an NR750 there), Motobum, battlefactory, my mouth is watering already...need to go back!!!!

mt fuji is open only one month a year, we had a go at it last time we were there, it doesn't look steep, but you will feel the burn!!! it is very very steep at the top, which is ok cos if you get tired you can stop at one of the many stores on the way up and buy coke of chocolate or cigerettes etc or even oxygen masks!!!! (no joke)
    hell of a view also.
we arrived at 4 in the afternoon and were still climbing well past 11.
best to climb at twilight, stay in the back packers at the 9th step and climb to the very top just before sunrise, magic!!!!

Took the Enfield up Fuji , ( If I find the photo will post )

Fuji is nice and yes you do have to climb through the nite, anyway Motegi ..Let me know if you want to go next year, Its good , but expensive , 2000 yen for car park 3000 yen for highway fee, and 20 000 yen for entrance ( We stood on the car roof ..

BUT the hamburger at the indi burger place is about the closest to a NZ burger you will get

Oh and DONT BRING THE WIFE , bring a small black book and a pen ,,,cause the race queens ....
