I was once teaching a chick to ride a 250 dirt bike, she was a little bit nervous of falling off, so i showed her how to take off.

I jumped on and was talking/explaining how to let off the clutch with just a little gas, but being a MANLY MAN multitasking was a skill I didnt have, and i dropped the clutch popped a wheelie (from stand still) rocketed forward, which was ok (i was incontroll) but 20m ahead was a truck duming metal and that 20m was closing fast so I decided to bin it and jumped off the bike (trucks have very expensive bumpers found out this with a head on car vs truck a while ago) the bike hits the ground and snappes the clutch lever... She never did want to ride after that...
