where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Yep, already seen that one, that particular bike would only be good for parts on an existing GT road / race bike, as suggested in the ad.
Bent forks and god knows what else has been done to the frame and replacement parts take about two months from Korea and aren't cheap unless you know the right people (korea, export, kawasaki mark up, dealer mark up, etc).
Was told by Mt Eden yesterday that Kawasaki are considering not bringing in the naked model anymore, only the fully faired. However, if they do continue with the naked, the price is going to go up $1,000.
That bike is a good price if anyone wants parts though ...
You could probably make $4,000 - $5,000 in parts selling them off.
Can you race a Hyosung 650 in F3?
Yes of course you can, it's the same as an SV 650, however the Hyosung is rated with 1 more HP than the SV.
I'm aware of a few bikes racing now, two in New Zealand, one in Europe and one in the United States. There are probably more when you consider what the bike has to offer - a lot of bang for buck.
Yes you can, already being done down here by Geoff Cain, it doesn't do to badly and it's a stockerOriginally Posted by Hellraiser

I understand that the Hyobag 650's racing in F3 down south are absolutely cleaning up. Maybe just rumor. There is a guy in Levin with a black 650R that was at a trackday recently with tyre-warmers and the lot. Was quite serious about it and was making up glass moulds for the fairings.

The 2006 SV 650 is 165kg and the 2006 GT 650 is 180kg (information sourced from bikez.com, so I'm not sure of its accuracy).
Maybe they'd rather do something different than just being one of the sheep and following everyone else, wouldn't suprise me if we end up seeing a few more on the track in the next year or soOriginally Posted by gav
