I've been trying to get the motivation to put a perspex case together, gotta find some place that'll give me semi-decent sized perspex offcuts cheap though![]()
Actually it does now - 3.8ghz processor, SE ASUS MB and 4 x 1gb dual channel DDR400mhz Ram, along with a Radeon x800 Pro 256md Graphics Card.......believe me - it is plenty quick enufOriginally Posted by toads
I sell Case Modding Gear btw if anyone wants anything. Those UV Neons sell rather well.

PM me Ant please or send me to a link for your web site
Well basically I can get everything from www.overclockers.co.nz & I am able to get the usual PC Hardware etc.
My site is still in the construction phase until I can sort out my database issues.

Sweet - I want a black light and UV reactive IDE Cables along with a loom for the power cables. Also want a stainless 80mm cover for the side fan - preferrably in the 'radioactive' shape - with filter. IDE cables need to be the round cables - not the flat ones - hate them.
3.8? Don't you mean 2.8, or possibly 3.4? Where can I get a 3.8 from?Originally Posted by wkid_one

Bugger - yeah I am running a 3.4ghz CPU overclocked - srry typing in the dark...and no t reading what I am doing......fat fingers small keys.
Overclocked 4 steps - so base speed is 3.8ghz.......needs some hell cooling tho
All I need now is a big bore and lowering kit - and I am off to port rd
ASUS boards are fantastic for overclocking. I've used ASUS for the last 5 years without any problems. I'm now running and Intel board and its the worse thing I could have done. Its got NO overclocking at all. The best it has is a burn-in mode. It allows you to "overclock" by a maximum of 4%. I've been bitching out it since I got it, about 2 months ago now. I think it time to advertise 1 x Intel board on TradeMeOriginally Posted by wkid_one

I was running a 2.4 overclocked to 2.8 on my old ASUS board and boy did it heat up. Not too stable after a while of playing games. I'd love to see what my 3.02 will do in a deacent motherboard. If I could get 3.2 or 3.4 I'd be happy.![]()
Hey WK, I used to have one of those. One side of the casing had a little aquarium thing and fake fishes…lol…but it took too much room inside so I got rid of it…
Have you overcooked your Intel Pentium processor…I guess so…in that case u lost your warranty though….no big deal, u prolly know it too but just wanted to mention…
Once, long long time ago I over clocked 500mhz to upto 750…but then the default fan couldn’t take it anymore (im talking about the slot one intel came up with at that time and quickly took it off the market), so I had to take the fan off and got a huge one with the same size tooth and kinda pushed it in the holes…which did the job but I think Pentium processor ain’t that good for over clocking though….i would rather have a celeron one. They can be over clocked upto twice of their original clock speed….i would rather have one of those ASUS MB with dual Celeron processors and over clock their ass off as I know can take it….
hey i used to have that model of Altec lansing...they are the bomb...but i sold it (wanted to change'em after 3 years!!) and got a 621 series with the huge sub woffer...almost looks like my comp has two CPUs..lol...
P.S...Hey is that you holding the bunny headed chick…lol…![]()
