    Yeah right!

Since when have I seen you ride sensibly enough not to endanger your own life, let alone some poor pillion? Come on Mark, get with the program! We all know what 'the law' says we can/cannot do on a learners. Quite frankly, if you turned up on the ride with a pillion, you would be asked to f@#k off home and to think about it. Enough said.

As great as the ZXR's are, a pillion changes it all together, if you got hot into a corner, breaking is alot longer.
We all know you would try and show off.
And Klingon would look funny on a 250 as a pillion, she wouldnt need to worry about looking at the back of your head, she'd see straight over it and then some :P

Ok, now that we have sorted the CRAP from the FACTS, we can get back to the topic - Thursdays ride.

Weather at this stage looks bloody awesome. There's a huge high off the Tasman at the mo, promising blueskies tomorrow and Thursday. I'm gonna go and find my Rain-X http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/000636.php (can be bought from Repco) and give my visor an anti-fog finish. It's gonna be a cold night!

With your GF tho, you just turned up at the pub.
When your round other bikers, you try and prove your self, try and keep up. And push yourself. From sore lessons learnt, you sometimes exceed your skill.
You wouldn't like to be the last one to the stops so would push it.
Shes realitivy new at riding so might also unbalance you.
Thus the reason for an experianced rider. So they can drop their whole weight over to conteract any mistakes a pillion might do.
250's arnt very forgiving for weight unbalance's.
My 5'10" mate was proff of that, pure mircle the bike stayed up.

But some nights, even with the visor up its hard to see the front tyre.
Heres hoping its warm like a tropical summer day

I have never seen your girlfriend at all, in fact I have never been introduced.

I dont care how careful you ride with a pillion Mark, its the fact that IF you did happen to have a mishap and something bad happened to the pillion, do you fancy spending 10years in jail for Manslaughter? The fact that you knowingly knew you shouldn't have a pillion to start with? Its a bit like a drunk driver killing someone on the road - he shouldn't of been driving to start with. Think about it, Im not having a go at you, just hoping you can see "beyond today."

And yes, I did offer klingon my backseat, but unless you fancy riding on a 180+HP bike on a seat no bigger than a phonebook...........
