I agree Jim, Try going aroung the Pauatahanui Inlet in the cage at rush hour. You spend most of your time sitting behind cyclists at 10k because you can't get passed them due to oncoming traffic. They sit in the middle of the lane as if they own it. When in reality, us bikers do......
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Well, I think we know kittiehawkes's view on being fashinable while riding....
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Nah. I think we should be allowed to force them off the road. With harpoon guns. We could sell the meat to Japan for Gaijin burgers.

I think there's nothing wrong with women being fashion conscious on bikes - brightens up things like the Big Boy's Toys expos etc. Kind on the "less is more" philosophy is what I'm trying to get at here.

Leave the Cyclists alone though - if you meet any peurile bastards with pedals that think bicycles are safer than motorcycles then let me speak to them - I've spent 22 years riding bicycles in major cities (nothing as small as Auckland of course!) on a bicycle you still have to get in lane while every other c**t won't let you change lane. Cage drivers assume you're going at 30kmh and pull right out in front of you when you're off the saddle sprinting at over 55kmh. Motorcycles don't give you respect (although I got a thumbs up from a biker about 15 years ago when I overtook him on twisty descent at around 75kph). Now that I've got an engine it's like Christmas - cars actually pay attention when you signal! When you're boxed in you can twist the throttle and get out before they crush you mercilessly. Unless you're talking about the doddery cyclists that have no idea about the finer points of Campagnolo componentry, Mavic rims and lots of carbon fibre (must stop - I'm drooling again) Oh - and if they use Shitmano components - give 'em all the abuse you like!

    Smaller engine = less speed.
Less speed = safety, because (all together now...) speed kills.
Right then, my round - Tuis perhaps?

I picked one scooterist up off the road a few years ago after a collision with a car, and every time since then that I've seen him, he's still not wearing adequate protection, so it didn't give him the learn.

    His choice.

I'd rather that than mandated safety gear. The SafetyNazis have given us too many rules and regs already, phukkem.
Well said vifferman - It's all personal responsibility and the safety nazis can kiss my arse. If I want to ride my scooter wearing nothing but my wife's G-string on backwards thats my choice.

Let me be the first to laugh hysterically when you're asking someone to donate some skin to cover your arse. I don't really give a f*ck what people wear when they're riding if they've been taught the consequences
